The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua

The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua

The Church of St. Anthony of Padua dates back to the late seventh century and consists of a single nave, flanked by chapels. In the interior, the church has a polychrome wooden altar of the eighteenth century.

It was made partly by the Spanish artist Medina and partly by local craftsmen. In the three niches, there are three statues, respectively of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua and Our Lady of the Defense.
