Sardara, a town with more than 4000 inhabitants, is one of the most important of the more than twenty countries of the new province of Medio Campidano. Its old town, full of charm and extremely evocative, takes us back in time.
Here we are found some of the best preserved and enhanced typical architecture of the Campidano.
Its streets, neat and tidy, in cobblestone or paved, evoke past times.
Historically belonging to the parish of Bonorzuli, Sardara is characterized by the presence of the castle of Monreale, on the homonymous hill, for the presence of watering place on the ancient Roman thermae and the Nuragic complex of Sant’Anastasia in the old town.
